Join us for Meeple Escape, the ultimate weekend for board game enthusiasts, hosted by Coastal Board Gamers. This annual event is a haven for gamers looking to immerse themselves in a world of strategy, competition, and fun. With available on-site accommodation, fantastic food, and an incredible selection of games, Meeple Escape is the perfect getaway for anyone who loves board gaming.

Over the course of three days, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into a library averaging 80 unique titles, with more than 130 games played throughout the event annually. Whether you’re a fan of epic strategy games, cooperative adventures, or light-hearted party games, you’ll find something to suit your tastes. The weekend is filled with opportunities to learn new games, revisit old favourites, and connect with fellow gamers from all over the country.

“1848 Friday night was great, Vandoons teach and then diving into the world of trains and shares was a great way to start the weekend. Firefly with all the expansions Saturday morning, (big thankyou to Haydn for jumping into teach!) and then Sunday Western Legends was perfect way to wind up the weekend” – lnett

“my personal favourite gaming moment was playing ‘A Gest of Robin Hood’ where I, Robin Hood, attempted to rob wealthy travellers and even the Sheriff’s treasury to give to the poor …and failed. My only successful robbery was when I stole from some Monks and kept it for myself— so much for giving to the poor. I deserved to lose that game.” – icubes

“I finished Meeple Escape with a legendary game of Marvel Legendary with some awesome and seasoned heroes in Narelle, Tim & Belinda. We were pushed for time, so we played with speed. We came SO close to losing to the Hydra High Council and their efforts to steal all oxygen from Earth. With a lose condition being 20 non-grey heroes knocked out, we were sitting on 19, with just 1 scheme twist away (which was the very next card) from being game over. Narelle comes along and deals the knockout punch to the weakened Arnim Zola, signalling a big hooray and a team high 5 amongst each other! What a way to finish Meeple” – jam.master.jim
