First event at our new venue on April 1st was no joke! Lots of new people, many great games and a cozy atmosphere, it was a great night.
The ants kept coming to the picnic food as the Bites tournament played out. Seven games before dinner the best of the best progressed to the final. Congratulations to Nic, Narelle, L’nett, Ellie and Talita for earning a finals position. Victory went to Narelle in 1st place and Talita in second place. The prize was a special ant themed spider plant and CBG Cash, canteen treasure.

A great night at the new location which was fantastic. I was part of some fun and interesting games — we played four player Container… and had an interesting situation where two of us got into a debt spiral which tanked the entire game. Loans are bad – who knew people? 😜 Congratulations to Ellie for winning her first game!
We also got in a six player game of Cosmic Frog… unfortunately we had to call it early, but much combat and shenanigans were had.
