With the weather in full downpour, only the hardcore gamers braved the drive to Lillico!
With that, there was still plenty of fun being had by all. Here are the games that made it to the table.
To kick the night off were some lighter games including one that was a prize from our R U OK 2 Play event, Catan: Dice game.
Penny then became the master of Century Spice Road with an amazing score of 91! So we now have a score to try and beat in all future games. Well done Penny!
With the evening meal about to be served, the non-pizza gang started to setup their spread and what a spread it was.
Making several people jealous, there was cheese, cold cuts and dips. Spreads and pickles, crackers and fruit, you could definitely tell foodies where at the table.
After dinner Flamecraft made it to the table again. Clearly the game of the night with 3 plays, 2 of them at the same time!
A Kickstarter game with fantastic table presence and amazing artwork, Flamecraft certainly was a hit. If this last event was any indication, Flamecraft will be making a regular appearance at the tables from now on.
The night was going swimmingly and then disaster struck! After 2 years it finally happened. A Can was spilt…….. In a flash towels and paper towels arrived at the scene, in an attempt to save the cardboard. The cards in their Sleeves of Protection laughed off the would be drowning, the cardboard tokens were not so lucky. Dune Imperium. The desert planet game. Had it’s first drink.
Sorry Tim, I still feel bad……..
Tim then went on to victory, with a tiebreaker decider. What a close game! We need to play this one more, I might just leave my drink on another table.
