Going clubbing? Poetry for Neanderthals provided the big distraction tonight. Penny wielded her inflatable power with reckless abandon. Hands up all those who escaped being bonked on the head. No? Me neither. The roadworks were behaving themselves very well on my drive in, so I arrived surprisingly early and began to set up the
Dragons, galactic warlords, artists, settlers, explorers, divers, scientists, tile layers, and dwarves. Through the afternoon, into the cool of the evening on 21st January 2023, twenty-five gamers gathered to enjoy a varied selection of fun board games including all those characters and more. Wow, Coastal Board gamers has completed 60 regular events! During the afternoon and into the evening of 17/12/2022 we enjoyed the last regular event for this year. Thank you to Fuchsia Fantasy Tea Rooms who cooked up a fantastic Christmas dinner with lots of table decorations, making our mealtime very relaxing and memorable.

The CBG event on 19/11/2022 was fairly sparse with only three tables active at the start. Later in the afternoon some more folk arrived to increase the table count. Must be that busy time of the year, I guess. Even with few people present we managed to play lots of games: Bohnanza Marvel Legendary Splendor
Of the many things to do on a long weekend, attending a CBG event is a good choice. In attendance we had many of the familiar faces of members mixing well with the newer faces of first and second time attenders.
